She is like a horse whisperer. She makes her way in the world by quietly connecting with whoever or whatever she is with. She has already touched you, cared for you, made you feel comfortable before you become aware of them. She is one of these people who you feel instantly at home with forgetting your worries and somehow her smile, her response to your questions and even the tea she offers you seems very special. Besides volunteering for CharityFocus since day one, she she is a HR Executive at a non profit that cares for not so privileged people.

She can cook for 100 people, and serve and clean up the dishes and serve dessert and clean those dishes and give you to-go food with a big smile. We have been fortunate to be in that 100 quite often. She always attempts to look beyond your imperfections and her own biases. She walked a thousand kilometers through Indian villages on a dollar a day budget with Nipun, at times going without food and shelter. She can pen a poem and shoot a picture that helps you see beauty in everyday things. Her self reflections during are so down-to-earth that you can change by just listening to her. And she is one of the very few people Nipun is afraid of ;) Thank You Guri.
